Your smile is extremely important to us. We want you to have the strong oral health and the beautiful smile you desire. If you have missing teeth, getting dentures is an excellent method of replacing them.

Dentures can be partials or complete dentures. Both appliances replace teeth, offering natural-looking results, but they go about it slightly differently. Partial dentures are for if you still have some teeth left in a row. They replace one or more missing teeth in the row, attaching to the remaining natural teeth on both sides of the gap. Alternatively, complete dentures replace all of your teeth, and suction to the roof of your mouth.

It’s normal for dentures to feel slightly uncomfortable when you first wear them. They will make you salivate more than normal, which will take some adjustment. To help you swiftly adjust to the dentures, practice chewing and talking when they are in place. Don’t worry! You’ll get used to them!

When you have dentures, it is important to practice impeccable oral hygiene. Brush your gums, tongue, and roof of your mouth with a very soft-bristled toothbrush to remove plaque and help prevent halitosis. Be sure to clean your dentures every day according to your dentist’s instructions.
